What defines your file as Self Prepared print ready?
|
You can reduce the cost of printing your files if you are willing to assume the responsibility of properly preparing your files, making less work on our end. We are willing to pass these savings in time on to you.
If you are confidant with preparing your files for print, you can reduce your print costs.
To qualify for this reduced pricing, you need to submit files that can be sent to the printer without any intervention by the Zazzu staff other than printing it.
If you have not printed with us at Zazzu before, it is probably best to discuss this process before hand to make sure you are clear on the process.
To qualify for Self Prepared pricing files should be set up as follows:
- File type should be saved in Tiff (.TIF), JPEG (.JPG) format. Save TIFF files with LZW compression.
- Image must be properly sized, accounting for required borders. Canvas should have a 2 inch border on all sides to accomodate streatching. Please remember that all pricing is based on paper size, not image size.
- If you are printing several images on one print run to roll stock, you must place these images properly positioned into one file for printing
- Color mode should be RGB or Grayscale. If accurate color is desired, file should have an assigned Color Profile of ColorMatch. Otherwise, the default color space is used with no guarantees about the color.
- Resolution must be at 180 or 270 ppi for prints to canvas, watercolor or Enhanced Matte papers, and 270 or 360 ppi for photographic papers.
- Make sure you have sent an email with the file name and print specifications to Zazzu and received a verification for your print order.
Zazzu will assume no responsibility for the color correctness or quality of prints ordered under these circumstances, so, it is probably best to have gone through the process at least once before you order prints under these conditions.
